    How long since...

...you've been on a geared bike?

For myself, it's been almost 6 monthes. I hung up my gearie last november for the winter.

This spring I started riding my new rigid SS. So I guess that's 2 monthes of nothing but SS riding.

I did one better with the gearie though...It's been converted into parts and probably won't see reassembly in the forseeable future (a couple of years).

We don't quit riding because we get old.

Maybe 3 months now! Only because, I stole the front end off it to make my SS. But new fork is on the way so it may be back up and running in another week or so.

October 2009 (8 months) and loving it. I am building a new geared bike for epic rides (same geo as rigid SS but with gears and front squish)

I ride a geared roadbike, SS mtb and commute on a fixie.
    Variation is good.

    3 days.

I love my Single Speed, but I like to mix it up with my 1x9, and occasionally my 3x9 FS bike.

    close to 4 years.
but if I had the wallet that many on these boards have, I would probably own several geared along with my current SS and fixie.

I steal my friend's bike that he leaves in my garage for the in town trails. Mainly to remind myself why I am not riding 29er, geared or with suspension. Not that it is all bad. I guess it reminds me of the positives of 29ers at the same time.

11 years, though I test rode some 29ers in April that had gears. Man, what a hassle this silly trigger stuff!
