    Hope Pro4 Trials/SS Hub

Planning to use this hub on my Monkey build. I'm very familiar with the ins/outs of the Pro2 Evo and it's 44 POE. Can someone familiar with Trials/SS hub explain how they are getting the supposed 88 POE on the Trials/SS hub? Are 2 opposing pawls shorter than the others (mod we used on the old 24 POE Hopes) or have they replaced the ratchet with an 88 tooth unit?

Thanks. That's the same as a standard Pro2 Evo with 44 ratchet. I'm not familiar with what the Pro 2 Trials/SS offered as far as POE. The only way that one could be 88 as the Pro4 claims, is have 2 opposing Pawls shorter than the others. I can't tell from that pic if that were the case.

EDIT: Hope has NO internal spec info on the Pro4 version of this specific hub but I did dig up some old Pro2 info and it looks like they are using the offset pawl method to double the POE so given the standard Pro4 is 44 POE, they're doing the same thing on the current generation of Trial/SS hub. So, basically you get 2 pawls engaging at one time versus 4. I've been running this on my older Pro2 Evo with no issue for several years. I wonder why they don't do this with their standard hubs?

2 of the pawls are offset slightly from the other 2. That gives them double the number of engagement points, but only 2 pawls engaged at a time. Seems to work though.
