    Help recommending some basic tools

I'm looking for some help in choosing a decent, not pro level set of basic tools. I've seen some on Nashbar and Jenson that are not too expensive, but I'm not sure if they are decent sets, or not. I'm looking to mainly do basic maintenance on my new SS 29er and possibly a build/conversion of a SS road bike. I've always done basic maintenance on my bikes, but have never had a set of dedicated bike specific tools and am tired of trying to make regular tools do the job.

The Nashbar, @ 100 dollar one is decent. Expect to break the chain tool. You should also get a dual density rubber mallet, some form of homemade or storebought headset press, possibly a bb tool and big adjustable wrench if the one that comes with the tool kit doesn't fit your bb, and whatever else you find you need along the way.
