I didn't check those links, but the hottest setup going is an eccentric Bottom Bracket....

Not an eccentric BB shell - your frame doens't have one...but the BB itself...is eccentric...and will go into any geared/standard frame.

there was a thread on this site of a new company putting out a very high quality unit just a couple weeks ago. I'm too lazy to go find it, but its right on here...perhaps linked above

I agree, Eccentric BB is the way to go for that bike.

Sell it and use the money for a custom steel frame or a ti frame.

I'd go with a White Industries Eno Eccentric rear hub. Nice and clean.

The only disadavatage is that you'd have to factor in the cost of the eccentric caliper mount too, and maybe a new caliper as I believe it has to be post mount, not IS.

I'd still go for an eccentric BB conversion - looks just as clean and would end up cheaper too.
