Has anyone thought of doing a belt drive on a Salsa Selma?

It looks like the seat stays simply unbolt from the dropouts to slip the belt through. I could be entirely wrong but...

allen bolt on the inside (frame is upside down).

looks to be a little bit of spot welding there but i can't tell.

It's just a bolt. skidlikeakid, over at fixedgeargallery.com forums has a Selma he's got set up SS with a belt drive. It's cool. Check it out over there.

I've contacted Salsa about this. It voids the warranty. Don't know if that matters to you but thought I'd let you know. I contemplated doing the same thing...until I waranteed my Selma for sounding like an old rocking chair.

Salsa is pretty good on the warrenty side of things. I know someone who warrentied a Mamasita recently and was the 3rd owner of the frame.

great to hear. I couldn't be more pleased with the frames performance; handling, ride, weight, geo, etc.
