I got some decent pics. I'll post them tomorrow night.

Thanks to all the locals for building trails, showing us around, giving us beer. It made for a great day.

    Here's the photos, as promised.

Thanks again to all the Longview area riders who are involved with Stella, and the HarmCon.
I'm glad I came out for the fun.

All that trouble I took to cut and paste for the SS crowd, and not one response?? I had assumed this thread would get a sticky, but I guess we've already moved on.

Looks like a great time. Too bad a I live on the east coast where we are being pounded by snow. Any tips for starting one out here?

thanks Matt for the pics and good words. We have a great group of riders and trail builders/maintainers. with two excellent trail systems with in 10 miles of longview we are blessed. saturday, we are figuring there were 90 riders in the woods, really. several counts were attempted but by the time the counter got to 70 everyone had moved, and we had more than a dozen other riders already up in the woods. sadly, everyone made it out alive so no new bikes for me this year. trail builders Ken and Bob K. cleaned up sunday or monday and I am deeply grateful to them both for their dedication and high fun factor!

sunday we had half a dozen new riders and the rains held off till almost the end of the ride. I don't know how it always happens that the saturday of harmcon is ALWAYS sunny! especially for the middle of winter.

advice for starting one where ever you are? pick a weekend, post it, do it.

glad I rode the fixie on saturday, doubly glad I rode the Vulture/Rohloff Sunday

Let the bike ride the trail, you ride the bike.
