... and if we just ... Happy to be on a Singlespeed!

    YES!!! Finally!
Last week, Brown Santa dropped off my favorite-shaped box at the house.

I'd been wanting a SS 29er for 3 years and just hadn't been able to purchase one until recently. I scored a deal thanks to a craigslister willing to ship. $260 to my door and it literally looks brand new.

So far, I've enjoyed riding around the neighborhood with my 7 y.o. daughter, getting everything adjusted. It hasn't properly been dirt-christened, but will be soon enough!

    Is that 29er Nevegal?
I use 2.35 on my 26 for uphill and local people call me crazy LOL.
I should borrow your bike just to know what people would call me.

Yeah, those are Nevegals. I love them on my Monocog, and they might only be the 2.10 in a 9er, but they look massssive. Nice bike, dude.
I don't believe anything, but I have many suspicions.

That's right, at the moment that's the biggest you can get 'em in a 9er. I want me some 2.35 UST Nevegals, but I guess I'll have to wait. What gearing you running? I like that creamy, almost "coffee with milk" paint job.

32/18 gearing. I initially wanted the green '10 but really like what I have, seeing it in person. The paint has a nice matte appearance. It scratches and chips pretty easy but a Magic Eraser and clearcoat pen take care of most scratches.

That gearing has worked for me well here in the southwest, although for any kind of pavement commuting I spin out like a madman. And I kind of enjoy chipping away at a new frame; it means you're doing it right!
