Good rides in/near Santa Clara, CA?

I am going to be in Santa Clara for a conference in 2 weeks and am contemplating bringing a bike. I will staying at the Westin in town and probably will not have a car, so the closer the better. Any recommendations would be appreciated, or point me to a web site or something. Thanks in advance!

Thanks, but I was hoping for some first hand experience. I guess I should have mentioned that I already looked at the trail reviews, which list nothing for Santa Clara, and a couple of small places in San Jose. Otherwise, I don't really know what is in the area, if anything.

Nothing of mention in Santa Clara, it relatively flat and suburban. The close trails would be something like Fremont Older or Saratoga Gap. Over the hill in Santa Cruz, you could do Wilder Ranch.
