    getting back to my roots

In early September I took the week off to drive my sister up to school in NH and visit friends, my former home and reride my very first trails for the first time in 5 years. I hadn't realized just how much I missed New England. I hope you enjoy:

    Breakfast at the Friendly Toast

    Driving into town

    The Falls

A many century old riverside bench

    More river

    Local architecture

The fresh spring that marks one of the many trailheads

    Into the woods!

Fort Rock, namesake of the trail network.

(forgive the focus, lots of rain means quick shots)

    carvy whoops

    tight trees

    mossy rock berm

    fin.

Awesome. I've never been out that way, but I guess I need to. Stunning pics!

New England is so awesome. 22 years ago I transplanted from Conn. to Fla. Only been back twice
since. Now at 35 I miss the lifestyle I had up there. Coincidentally, my wife is also from Conn.
Probably time for us to get back to our roots. It's funny how I just could not wait to move and now
I wish I would have never had to leave.
