    Gearing and chain length question

Ok, this is a total noobie question, and I'm sure if I spent a little time I could come up with the answer eventually. With that said, I figured it was worth a try here first. After my first ride in SS I got tired of the chain tensioner. I'm probably to blame for that in that I likely screwed something up, but it just didn't keep things tight enough and started slipping. When I got home I started messing around with my cogs to see what might work. I ended up finding a magic combo, 32:20 that works perfect with my current chain length. 32:18 was just too loose, and I couldn't quite get it to work with 1 link taken out. My question is, what are the odds that 32:16 would work with 1 link out?

Your best bet is to look here and see what your options are instead of just guessing ;-)
