    Fsss...

    New to me Haro Sonix 650B, Rode the piss out of it this weekend and loved every bit of it.

    I didn't have the spacers for the shock so I rigged it up with some random washers for now. I'll order the right **** from fox sooner or later.

    Man that's nice!

    I think if you only have one SS, a hardtail with a suspension fork is most versatile. But two SSs,
    one rigid for smoother trails and and one FS for the rough stuff, that's the **** if you've got the
    means!

    I actually stripped down two of my mountain bikes (one ss fs and one ss rigid) and stole parts off of them to build this. I finally narrowed it down to two mtb's.
    One single speed rigid 650b and one single speed fullly 650b.

    if he was pushing it up the hills with a cigarette in his mouth, it was likely him. He can walk up Stanley Peak like noone's business.

    I rode this bike a little, it was pretty sweet!

    and yea that was me but i was not walking.

    ill admit i walk alot since breaking my elbow but ill be back in the game soon enough.

    Chain Drops?

    Sorry to be digging up old threads, but have you had any chain drops with that yess tensioner? Particularly when dropping from a few feet?

    No chain drop or excessive chain slap whatsoever.

    Love my bike set up better then just about any bike I've ever had.

    Changed a few things since my original post.

    -Chris king ss hubset
    -Dt swiss
    -Velocity P-35's

    -Xtr pedals
    -Thomson stem
    -Flite saddle
