    Yup

    > Building one?

    I wish.

    Only about teenage prostitution.

I'll bet I was the only one on the board who had to replace a crank cotter today.

I'm here. A loser sitting at home, alone, on the internet at 7:30pm Eastern time.

    Do I ride a SS ?
Yes, 2. 1 road one, and one mountain.

    Building One?
Fancy that you should ask that. Last night, I went garbage pickin' and I found a nice miyata bike from the 80s. Stripped the gears off that sucka' and soon it'll become a fixie.

    Curious and Scared?
Aboot fixed riding? Somewhat. although I test rode a 2004 fixed bianchi pista at the boston bike show 2 weeks ago. much fun, I tell ya.

    Ride a SS?

Yep, a '03 Bianchi SISS, my favorite bike. Mostly stock but I got a Easton CF riser bar a few weeks ago, and changed the headset from no-name junk to a Cane Creek. I love the way it rides, rigid fork and all.

    Yep me too!

Got a converted 92 Supercalibre, thinking of getting either a On-one Inbred or Surly 1X1, would really like a Thylacine, but dollars prevent it at the moment. The idea of riding fixed offroad scares me.

    Lazy Lurker

    Talk more than I ride.

Need some advice on a $400-$500 to be used for riding in an industrial envirnoment (shipyard). Will be left outside 24-7.

Ride an SS and building a fixed gear. Have the wheels all laced up, just need to do the tensioning. Woohoo!

    Industrial environment? Stored outside?

My vote is for a $75 beater and pocket the other $425 .

Yep, even ride the geared bike more like a ss now too.

    Building one?
Have been building one since October of 03, waiting from a box of goodies from King to finish her off. Will post pic's when complete.

    Curious & scared?
Only scared that I will break myself early in the season and miss out on the trails.

Two SS's One mountain, one road. No plans for anything new but the two I have are always evolving. Pictures are buried somewhere in the singlespeed galleries and I'm too lazy to find them. I'm constantly confused and the only thing I'm scared off is not being healthy enough to ride.
