    Freewheel lubrication

I have disassembled and cleaned my unsealed DICTA freewheel. Internals are looking good, so I'll put it back together. What to use for lubrication? Should I use lots of it, or just a thin layer?
I've read about PW tenacious, and don't have it at the moment.

    Let's hear it.

I think you can just soak it in oil. I believe many have used Mobil 1 for this application. When I ran BMX freewheels, I just let them soak in mineral spirits/oil mix and spun them around in the mixture. Then I would do the same in oil - regular old SAE 30 and it would be good as new.

I now have a WI FW and haven't touched it. Previously had Shimano and ACS.

i always use Tri-Flow, Synlube, or a mix of the two. keep your fw clean and lubed and it will last a long time.
