    frame identification

Ok I know I have posted pics of this ss i built, the frame akthough not ss. I have torn it apart today, polished the frame regreased everything... anyway I am wondering if some of you can identity this frame. I bought it new almost two years ago, but the frame is not 06/07. it is either 98/'99 or '00. It has under down tube mud guards bolts( like water bottle cage bolts). has quite a long top tube. the lbs i bought it from bought it new and came from the norco factory but it isnt a norco frame.... they warehouse other frames also. He also does not know who is the maker of the frame as it came from norco as you see it(without seat and seatpost obviously) As you can see, the chain stays have another piece welded on the inside edge at the tire area. this frame is super beefy, not sure who makes it, love to kow... hopefully someone will recognize it.

yeah its aluminum. Unfortunately the guy who owned the LBS where I bought it, has sold the store to another guy and the new guy has no clue what it is either. I did a search on old norcos. Brodie, Cove, Rocky Mountain, and no luck... Norco does have very similar drop outs but it isn't norco. I will try calling norco tomorrow and see if I can send them pics, and see if anyone there can figure it out. It came from the Norco warehouse/factory so hopefully someone can shed some light on it for me.

Looks like an old Norco Java Frame... Probably a 96 or 97 era frame?

i looked into those... the tubing is much thinner and it did not have disc mounts on it... looked at the mocha and also bigfoot.manik.torrent.assquatch etc.

it has similar features, bottle/ splash guard bosses in the same area, but rear triangle is beefier on mine and has square chain stays... java has oval.
but if it is along those lines, it has easton tubing
