    Flight or Monkey

Decision time on my frame choice for my new 29 SS and it's down to 2 choices....

Can i get some feedback from those who have ridden both the Redline Monocog Flight and the Karate Monkey....

Everyone who's ridden only one just raves about that one...

It's crunch time so tell me what sucks about each one

    thanks

i've got a monocog flight the main issue that i've had w/ it is that after i changed the fork to a RS reba sl 80mm travel the steering has gotten a bit dodgy the bike handled great w/ the stock steel fork but it would really jar my wrists on any kind of breaking bumps or technical terrain. it's the only rigid i've ever ridden since way back when but i've read reviews they say the stock fork is a bit harsh.

i was running the stock maxxis 2.1 igniter tires on it, the wtb wheels/rims are not tubeless and i've heard they don't covert to stans all that well? though i haven't tried it myself. i've thought about trying a carbon fork but haven't as of yet, also the avid bb5 breaks aren't all of that but for a $100 or so you can upgrade to the bb7s.

i've never ridden a monkey, and i can say that w/ a clean conscience, so i don't know how they would compare.

    good luck w/ that.
