    fixie content: head badge suggestions

After trying it out on a beater for a few months, I realized I enjoyed riding fixed enough to upgrade my frame.

Saw the article on the IRO cycles Jamie Roy in the latest Dirt Rag, and even though I'd prefer a steel frame it's kinda hard to beat a new frame for <$200 (got one of the '03 closeout frames). Think the closest steel frame in that range is the Surly Steamroller for about $350 or so. Or maybe a Soma Rush, not sure what those go for.

The frame arrived today and looks pretty good, but it's kinda plain. Gonna need some personality. I'm not too fond of the IRO Cycles logo so I'm looking for suggestions for a new head-badge sticker.

    Any ideas?

    -Trevor

I used one of drevil's "One Gear More Beer" stickers on mine. In particular, the one with the little guy holding the beer.

    don't get me started...

I'd go for something cool & retro from eBay. Even unrelated.

the Bullit I bought almost 3 years ago came with a sweet sticker on the head tube covering the unusually fay Santa Cruz logo... it read... "Fear the Mullet" with a powerful sillouette of a mullet adorned dude. I miss that sticker.
here's the best I could come up with...

I took off all the stickers on my BMX and put a Cadillac logo. All black, stealth look, I'm pimpin' yo!

That's funny, I used to have a Caddy logo on my old Truth. I found it on ebay for next to nothing. If you want to spend a little more $$ you can have something custom made for $100 or less from this website: http://www.emblemart.com/ I think cheesy stickers on headtubes should be outlawed. Headbadges rule!
