    Fixed Gear Single Speed Journal

    Hello again:

Just inviting everyone over to FIXED IMPRESSIONS. I own the domain now and want some feedback on the site. I'm soon going to move off of blogger. But for now I've got the URL forwarded. If you have any interest in Scorchers or fixed-gear trail riding check it out!

I've been working on the final shots for the "FIXED IMPRESSIONS" video. On the sidebar of the blog you'll find the pre-release trailer with some of my original tracks enhanced by the amazing music of Aphex Twin. I'm going to produce the full length video in November and December. But there is much to read and take in before the feature comes out.

    check it out:

    Your feedback is much appreciated!

I rode my first off road race fixed...the Chequamegon Fat Tire 40 miler....what a rush it was...since my cuss is used as a fixed/free, I kept my brakes on....I saw one other fixed, without brakes...he finished 8 minutes ahead of me...I did three hours, just like I have all 22 years prior, 4 on a SS, and 18 with gears....fixed off road is a a mind bender, but the best experience that can be had on the trails....go nuts

    ROCK ON!

I've been riding crazy hard Vermont trails on the Univega Scorcher all summer, with 44mm/700c mutanoraptors!

I've just begun to scratch the surface myself(two months). It's like a drug. Total sensory overload.

    Hey Thanks for the support.

I've been working on the writing for a long time...now just need to develop the visual and web skills. Stay tuned.
