    fisher rig and bottom bracket

I decided to chuck my external bearing cups on my Gary Fisher Rig because I've tired of them failing and installed a square taper bb-un52 I had laying around. Unfortunately the cranks that match (Raceface next lp) don't seem to work. The 34 tooth ring I want on there hits the chainstay and the ring isn't large enough to bolt onto the outside of the spider - it hits the crank. I don't know what the width of the bb spindle is, but I assume I need a wider one. I have no idea the current width of the bb-un52 because it's not printed on the bottom bracket. I'll measure it, but was wondering what width bb folks are running on their Rigs.
    Thanks for any help!

ps the bb seems to be 111 mm wide after measuring if that width exists, maybe i was a little off and it's 113.

I called the Trek Factory Store (just for you!) and they are 95% sure it's a 113mm. I'd pull mine real quick for you but I didn't get an Isis tool for it yet.
