i couldnt think of anything witty to say that would make myself feel better about you having a nicer bike than I, so you're off the hook for now.

    Nice bike, i'm jealous.

Yes, this man knows how to take photos!

You did forget the non-drive side photo ;-) The horizontal dropouts are fantastic with those funbolts and CK hubs. I have been debating blue alloy nipples or all black on my new blue hub'd wheelbuild so your pix came in handy. Welcome to MTBR, great to have you on board.

My new 09 Jabber is my first 29er and first SS too! Had it a month thus far and have only broken out my FS Giant Trance twice. I wondering why I had gears for all those years!

Wow, so much bling. If this is your first bike, I'd like to see what the next will look like.

Yea I didn't want it to be so "bling" but after I used a few blue parts it just started coming out that way. It doesn't look quite the same after a day on the trails though.

If I were to build a 29er to my heart's content (with wife's permission, of course) it would have looked exactly like this bike, with all the identical specs, even down to the grips.

Okay, maybe I'd go for a wider bar and some barends, but that's it.

Wider bar is on the way. Took a few rides to figure that out. Luckily that bar wasn't expensive.

You have please the peanut gallery on your first try. Very nice build, I love blue accents. Now you can waste countless hours on your next build when you see some of the other bikes on here. GOod luck.
I like to ride Bikes. This might be turning into an obsession, not sure?

I saw a Soma Juice frame on Ebay with all of the same parts for sale (frame only). Might this be your first frame that was a bit too small? This bike is awesome. I am looking for my next project to build and this inspires the hell out of me.

Ha ha...... Thats funny that you noticed that. I bought the soma because it had allot of good parts i wanted. If I had it to do over again I would just buy my frame and go from there. I replaced so much stuff it ended up costing me more. For example I have a new saddle and seat post coming still. And those handlebars are next. Then I'm done.

That thing is friggin SWEET!!! Now get out and get it dirty.
I built up my jabber this past year and absolutely LOVE that thing...
For bars you might look at the luv handles - I had mine done with red splatters in the paint and they really add a nice touch....sure he could do blue splatters or accents of some sort on yours...
