first build ever (ghetto budget spec)

frame is a craigslist special. Supposedly a small company in Telluride Colorado who made "carbon fiber" frames and folded and some guy bought the remaining inventory. Watched them on craigslist for awhile and he went from $150 to $75 as he tried to clear them out. He knocked it down to $50 since there is a loose bead weld rolling around in the frame. I bought it back in 2007 or 2008 and its been sitting since.
Finally got out of grad school and rebuilt my FS since I now have time to ride. Used 90% of the parts off my GF Cake.
    Frame $50
    Cane creek HS ~ $22
Forte SS conversion kit ~ $25
    Chain ~ $14
Seatpost ~ $19 (my GF used a larger diameter that wouldn't fit)

when I get better I'll upgrade the fork and pedals. "Pedals" came on my roadbike as the in store testers! This is mostly going to be an urban crawler for now...
