Nice job! Were you thinking "like, this bike is just working too well right now. Hey! There's a lake! Lets see if I can contaminate some bearing seals!"
Maybe you are hoping it would sink and you would have an excuse to buy a new one?
On a different note, I've been wondering this for a long time. Aqua, how often do you **** yourself up doing this crazy ****? Honestly. I mean, the water ride wasn't so dangerous, but some of the boulder lines you take have got to result in some gnarly crashes. What have you broken?
I used to love trying to ride the kind of stuff you hit, until I broke both of my arms on a nasty spill. I've been a changed man ever since.

Doood! Are you saying that you've let a few broken bones and lost skin slow you down???!!!
No we are talking! I think these last photos should be in the "I did not Crash" thread! Dude was just checking out the moss growth on the rock in the last picture and the others are all halloween costume pictures!
And thank God for letting me know that I am not the only one out there interested in moss on rocks
The definition of macho is jogging home from your own vasectomy..and after seeing this I think aquaholic has what it takes to truly live that definition out to it's fullest potential.
"INSANE IN THE MEMBRAIN"
All this at the age of 54 WTF????
Steve O, you wouldn't happen to have any archived photos of circa year '2000? Let me reiterate and bring our fellow riders up to speed. As I said the year was '2000 or there abouts and Aqua and I were deep into the sport of freestyle stand up jet skiing. (as he still is) when I told him my interest in getting into MTBing. Well it wasn' much more than a couple of weeks since our first conversation about it that both of us had a shiny new 4k mountain bike and all the best gear sitting in our garages. Well from that point on jet skiing took a back seat to weekend warriors with an obsession. Aqua was always super human in the jet ski world. I learned many a freestyle trick via Aqua. Many were tried by me over and over to the point of exsaustion week in and week out without ever conquering them. A short background both Aqua and myself come from a MX background which coinsides with both stand up jet skiing an MTBing. So when we both took up MTBing at the same time I thought "oh finally a sport we can accell together" and maybe I will be as good or better at. How quickly did I learn how WRONG I was. WTF I thought this dude is SUPER HUMAN in this sport as well. Sure he (we) had our share of crashes trying to conque certain sections of trails mainly Nobel Canyon. But nothing deterred him no matter how hard a section was or how many times he crashed he'd hike a bike back up or ride it back turn around and try it again and again until he mastered it. I on the other hand had three or four goes at it until I was on to the rest of the trail. Many a wound spilled blood on those boulders in the early days. I never got much better than my first couple of years of riding where as Steve started as a IMO expert class and shortly moved beyond the impossible. For all those out there familiar with Nobel. Canyon outside of San Diego you are probably aware of certain sections of trail that have a nick name such as "Barney rubble or stairway to hell and many others that "slip my mind. These were all named by Aqua from back then just as a joke from trying to conquere each section. The names stuck over the years and have even been mentioned in write ups about the trail. So give the devel his due he was in a bind and way behind and willing to make a deal. You play pretty good fiddle boy but I bet I'm better than you. So just remember if you win you get this shiny fiddle made of gold. But if you lose the devel gets your sole. Sorry couldn't help thinking these lyrics correspond quite aproperately.

The Balance on the bike comes from the same motor skills from Freestyle Jetsking...... Except Steve is not human and does not have an inner ear to effect his balance....... speaking from another Freestyle Competitor...........
