Sparkle Blue! Beautiful. I'm looking forward to seeing it built up.
This isn't a "you're doing it wrong" topic.

Thanks. I have a 34t crankset. The BB will be a Phil Wood. it won't use an ENO freewheel. I am thinking just plain Shimano 8 spd cassette hubs. One with an 18t, the other with a 22t cog.

I need to do my tax return before I can begin ordering parts - but for mine, I'm thinking a coastie wheel and a fixed wheel. I think low-speed" monster-trucking" over obstacles with the control of a fixed would be a blast.

Be sure to post lots of photo's as you go.

WTF?? You went straight for the "money shot." I was looking forward to a multi-week build, where each component was carefully photographed in its packaging and then lovingly installed on the bike. Now all I have to look forward to is installation of cables??

HAHA! And a bottom bracket / crank install.

I just took parts from the old Karate Monkey and threw them together on this one. Can't wait to ride it. The Cadillac of mountain bikes.

26er, 29er. Never really saw or felt a difference. But this, I can certainly tell a difference.

Not the best picture... riding on virgin snow this morning. 3" to 4" in places. Some 5" from snowdrifts.

    First impressions? Love it!

Doing a 34/16 there. I think I will change it to an 18t. It is like riding a tractor.
