    Eccentric BB recommendations

It looks like threads addressing this are relatively old so I thought I'd start a fresh one. Personally, I much prefer horizontal dropouts but I have a Cannondale Trail SL 29er SS that is otherwise a pretty decent bike. Anyone care to chime in with some eccentric BB recommendations?

I am using the Wheels Manufacturing EBB and so far it works great. I have a Niner Air 9 RDO 2017 model SS - Wheels Mfg - Eccentric Bottom Brackets

I dismissed the Niner EBBs for some reason that I don't recall. I'll take another look to make sure I wasn't being hasty. Cannondale has a habit of being different than everybody else (headshock, Lefty fork, 1.5" non-tapered steer tube, etc.).

My Niner EBB 2 is working great. Never tried any others though.

i doubt the Niner EBB2 will fit, call them they will tell you. I really think the only choice you will have is the bushnell EBB

never have a issue with the one on my Specialized Crave SL - had some issues with the Trek/GF Rig one but they were minor - have heard good things about the Bushnell EBB as well.

The BEER components EBB is spot on. I have 2 and they are absolutely brilliant.

I've never had a problem with an EBB and I've had a few bikes with them. They are my preferred method of maintaining chain tension. It's hard to argue with the convenience of a vertical dropout.

Sliders are the next best thing IMO.

I believe a lot of the problems people have with an EBB are caused by overtightening, thus ovalising the BB shell. Just do it once and the problem is there for life, and if the bike had a previous owner it's worth checking the BB shell.
As little bike as possible, as silent as possible.

Could you possibly elaborate on the problem you're having with your EBB? I recently picked up a Cannondale Trail SS and the EBB works fine right now, but would like to know about any future issues I might have.

Another vote for wheels mfg, installed in a specialized carbon pf30 frame. Creak free performance for years.
