EBB's, how difficult are they to retrofit....

are EBB's designed only for EBB specific framesets, or can any bike be fitted with an eccentric, could i drop one into my old early '90s Fila Taos frameset and not need to run a tensioner, or do you need an eccentric rear hub as well?
Brian, there's a message in my Alpha-Bits, it says "OOOOOOOO"
    Peter, those are Cheerios

Gears, we don't need no steenking gears!

YES. If your frame is not already set up with an EBB you'll need to ginsu the BB shell and fit with an EBB shell and EBB (and repaint)... it can be done and there are folks that do it but it's major work compared to just getting a wheel built with ENO ecc hub. If you've got the ENO ecc hub you need nothing else.

If your frame was an old custom Fat or something I would say get a retrofit ebb, but for the money an ENO wheel you could use on any frame and sounds like a better investment.
Vulture cycles does ebb retrofits, I saw Wade do a Cove handjob conversion but I don't know how much it cost. This would get you a custom Derrick paintjob while you were at it though...
