    EBB on GF "RIG"

been having a problem with my bottom bracket rotating, thereby causing the chain to loosen up. spec is for 8 to 12 NM torque on the tightening bolt. this has never been sufficient to lock it in. i've been going up to 20 -25 NM which seems pretty tight. i don't want to "egg" out the frame by over torquing. one of the regulars in my group suggests a carver replacement. they do have a "rig" specific" unit which is currently going for $79.00.
    any thoughts out there?
    thanks

I have a Rig with a Carver EBB. My advice...get one and say goodbye to creaks, slippage etc....

i crank down on my EBB and get it nice and snug. the frame can handle it. of course im using an allen key as my lever arm...so i wouldnt use a very long lever arm and crank it too hard...the bolt will most likely break.
