    EBB/chain length question

I have a single speed with EBB and for optimizing my crank position i had a question that relates to chain length. Is removing (or adding) a chain link roughly equivalent to going one tooth less (or more) on the rear cog?

No, it's roughy equivalent to 4 teeth on the cog.

Think of it this way, if you add a link (two holes) to a chain and nothing else changes then you need 2 more teeth to take up the chain slack, and 2 more teeth on the other side grabbing air.
