    Drivetrain growl

I have a drivetrain growl I am having trouble tracking down. Running a WTB Single duty hub with the stock steel cog, ethirteen ring on a Kona Kula 2-9. It growls under light pedaling, not sure about under hard as it may be lost to tire/breathing noise. Chainline looks good. Wheel/slider alignment looks good. I am at a loss but keep looking at the hub as the suspect.

Blackspire 34t front chainring and a Sinz 17t cog I find that I get growl when I slightly over tension my chain. The longer teeth on the Sinz cog holds the chain slightly. I can "feel" the noise when the bike is in the stand and I backpedal the cranks. It is more noticeable on my scandium One9 than my steel Sir9 with the same configuration.

Thanks will slack the chain and see if it helps. Don't have any tight spots though....

Yup, check your chain tension. If it's too tight, it'll make noise.
