I build bikes, and I'm going to be building some for people who can't afford a bike.

If you have any old bikes, frames, etc... that you don't want I'd like to know.
Beggers shouldn't be choosers, but in this case I can't afford to pay for shipping for bikes I can't use. So I'm asking if you have any large - xlarge. I've got people with those needs currently....

I'll be stripping, painting, building and giving them to those in need.

I'll pay shipping and I wish I could say you could write it off but I'm not a non-profit, that is, I don't make money, but I don't have the 501c3 status the Gov't needs for write off's.

    Thanks > Tony

    PS: I'm in Holland Michigan

Its too small for me. I offered it to several people and suprisingly no one took it!

    Fred,

I posted the bike weeks ago! Where you been kid?

I still have it, no takers yet.

This stupid weather is driving me crazy. To salty to road ride, to wet to trail ride!

Let me know if you want the bike.

Yeah, Fred if you want it go for it.... It looks like a very buildable bike, but it looks a tad to small for my current needs, and I don't want to "hord" things if I don't have a need for it.

Someone emailed me with a frame that will work for my current needs but I'm always looking for 20-22" frames as it seems that's the average what people need around here in Dutch country (Holland, MI), aka, Tulip-ville.

Thanks. I actually designed those and printed them on clear sticker stock from officemax. I then sprayed the sticker with hairspray to seal the ink. I applied to the frame and applied a clearcoat over the sticker and the frame.

The lettering is rub-on letters from Hobby Lobby, though you can google rub-on letters and find a ton of options.

Hope that helps. If you want I'd be glad to email you the barcode as a pdf. Or if you want any of my sticker designs I'd be glad to email you the ones you want.... no charge or course.

I had a feeling it was under the clearcoat.

Thanks. I was hoping that they were over the clearcoat. Nice job though.

MC - thats a deal but I'll pass on the bike for now... unless my hair catches on fire or your putting it back out in the trash - I'll come get it.

duotone - Thanks! I've been to Holland before.... just tell me Captain Sundays is still there.... man that place was the place to get Ice Cream!

Yep, Capt Sunday is alive and well... My wife kids and I ride there often as it's 3 miles East of our house.
