    Diamondback conversion

i have a 2009 dimondback sorento that i would like to make a single speed. I have a free wheel hub on the back and would like to know of any cheap conversions for it. Do they make any conversion kits for free wheels? If so than what are options of a cheep one. This is my backup bike so i do not need high performance.
I know i need new single cranks so anything cheep?
I would not be opposed to getting new hubs if they or of equal price of the conversion because then i can mount my disks to them when i get extras. Im looking to also looking to build wheels and i'd rather do that on my old bike.
Remember: keep it cheep because im not loaded for money

    Your avatar is very ironic.

You can just get a bmx freewheel and put that on there for like 10 bucks.
You may want to invest in a non ramped chainring so it doesnt "shift" on you.
All of this is covered in the singlespeed FAQ thread stickied to the top of this forum.
