    Custom Chameleon Build Thread

Wednesday. Picked up a new to me Chameleon.

    Thursday. Disassembled bike.

    No pics.

Friday. Spent an hour in the metal shop. Lost a few grams.

In removing the seat stay braze ons, I figured it may as well become a dedicated SS.

New decals, disk break adapter, and Revolution wheel set are enroute.

On the 'to buy' list are a set of breaks, front and rear cogs (I want this to look clean, so I'm not sure what I'm going to buy yet).

Oh man... I ground the braze ons off of my first fixed gear. I still regret doing that. It really limits the bike if you want to do something else with it later on (not that I've wanted to)

But hey, nice bike. Are you going to repaint that thing?

It limits this bike. I have others, so don't mind. If I'm going to trails that have lots of ups and downs, then this bike will stay home. It's a dedicated SS, and I'm good with that.

I'll be repainted for sure. Flat white is my color for choice at the moment.

My old canti-only Chameleon Green 15" is the only bike that I miss.
