    Crunchy Freewheel

    Anyone suggest a fix?
    Had to do a bit of scootering last night...

    no fix. replace.
    $15-20 for ACS less for generic.

    If that doesn't work, buy a new freewheel.

    Squirt some oil inside and wrap a zip tie around it.

    I was thinking of using a band clamp and filling the freewheel with rubber bands for silent clutch action.
    Sneaky quiet. Peeps wouldn't even know I was coming up behind them.
