    Crave SL Chainring Upgrade

What is a good 32t chainring to use on a stock Crave SL drivetrain? The bike comes stock with an 8spd KMC chain. I am 210lbs and a masher, the climbs here are short and steep, lots of out of the seat full power bursts. Looking for strong

Will a Raceface narrow wide work with an 8spd chain?

    not doval, it's a POS.

AB, Raceface, Wolftooth all make good rings. yes, the Raceface NW will work with an 8 speed chain.

you should consider replacing your chain while your at it.

Just pulled the trigger on a stainless Chris King 20t cog and Raceface 32t narrow wide ring. The bike only has 30 miles on it so the stock chain is good to go still. Also bought a little spacer kit to make sure the chain line is correct since the Chris King cog base is a little wider than the stock one.

I'm of similar weight and us Clydesdales will wear through AL chainrings too quickly. I run Surly SS rings on my SSMTB and SSCX and will never go back to AL. Also, I strongly recommend the KMC Z610HX chain for us mashers. This combo is up to the task for heavy strong riders.

I'm about 225,and I put an E*13 32t on the front, and an Absolute Black 20t cog on the rear. I'm running a SRAM PC-951 chain. So far, I'm liking them both. However, I've only got about 70 miles on the combo, so can't speak much for the wear, yet.
I need a cool saying to put here.

I'm 235# and running a Absolute Black front and rear with their 32t oval front ring and 18t rear cog. About to install a KMC X10sl I bought on closeout from price point for next to nothing, will report back.
