Rasta theme is always a nice, classic MTB color scheme. Post a pic when you're done and welcome to the forum!

You should do mismatched hubs with at least 3 deiiferent colors of alloy nipples.

GT either did or still does make a Rasta 29er color bike. Could be an '08. Not sure. performancebike.com is where I saw them. Some forum members have them. Use the mtbr search.Kooka used to make a Rasta square taper crank. ( in the '90s) Maybe search on ebay or craigslist.(crank was called the "Kooka Rasta". Kooka and Cook Bros. made cranks in colors I know. Maybe others too.

HAHA that was my original Ideah was to do alloy nipples in RED, GOLD, GREEN!!! but the mechanic Said it was a bad idea due to corrosion.. Perhaps when I re-build my wheels!!

    Try these guys:

Porkchop BMX Old School BMX Bicycle Parts and Accessories

Also, if you have a load of parts all the same color, getting them anodized won't be too expensive. I had everything done on my Gary Littlejon bmx cruiser for 125.00.
