    check this junk out!

Not saying I'm proud of it or anything but it is the first bicycle i have ever built myself. I didn't put mega money into it. It is a beast though. The back tire is flat, I know.

No worries about the tall gears, I live in Tampa, Florida. I'm actually saving up for new wheels & tires so that this can be strictly an on-the-road bike. I would like to say that even with those beefy tires, I stay in the middle of the fixed gear kids.

Since the highest point in Florida is 345' above sea level, I'd say the gearing is right in there.

You always remember your first and don't worry about the cost of any mistakes; that's tuition.

How do you intend to stop it?
As little bike as possible, as silent as possible.

If it's flat, and you don't want to run brakes, why not thow a fixy cog on there? Use a English BB ring with gobs of Loctite or better yet some JB weld and you'll be able to skid that baby out!
