    Changing Handlebars??

I just picked up a new set of carbon HBs. If I wanted to change them my self is it necessary to use a torque wrench? I know it would not be hard to change them but I do not have a torque wrench.

Also if I do change them my self is there anything I need to know about the carbon bar so I donít damage them in the process?

I think you should have a torque wrench.

tighten the bolts on the stem gradually and alternately and don't overdo it - you don't need a torque wrench, just get it snug and not too tight. Folks tend to way overtighten their bar components - just tight enough to keep things from moving is all you need - it's important to look for any sharp edges on the stem clamp faces though - sand out any burrs or sharp spots.
