    Chain tensioners

    Hello all
I'm in the process of building up a 1X1. What is the best method for tensioning and making sure the wheel is straight? I'm running disc brakes. Will I need a tensioner? Is the Surly tugnutt that great or can I use a BMX tensioner and get the same results at half the price?

Please show me your pics of rear wheels or suggestions.

    Thanks

I would suggest reading the singlespeed FAQ at the top of the section. Most if not all of your questions will be answered there. There are also many sites out there that have great instructions, pics, and examples of single speed conversions. I beleive a google search for singlespeed will produce a bucket full of links. There are also some great links posted in the FAQ
