    Carve SL upgrade opinions

I have a 2013 specialized Carve SL. I do like the carbon chisel fork but recently have been thinking of getting a suspension fork. I have the opportunity to buy a fresh takeoff RockShox Revelation from a 2016 Specialized Camber. My lbs said it will work and they will be able to tune the travel down to 100mm instead of 120mm if I want. It does require a new hub (15mm through axle). My lbs has that covered for me $40 too from a recent camber wheel rebuild they had done.

Fork is a killer price and well below even used eBay prices.

Any opinions would be great. Would the revelation be a good choice. I'm not a weight weenie at 210 so I've got more to loose than parts could benefit me.

    thanks

#1) You will want to make sure you have a lock out
    #2) 100mm for sure
#3) Make sure you can get a crown race, they are kind of hard to find with the correct angles for that headset

I have a revelation. It's a good fork. I agree you need the lock out.
