    carbon?

i'm looking at controls for my SS and i'm thinking about carbon... I'm 220lbs and mainly muscle (though i should be more like 200lbs - like i said mainly muscle). I wanted ritchey WCS all the way through, but i've been tossing up carbon vs alu especially considering my size and the way my SS gets ridden...

if you look at the weights of Ritchey gear the carbon really isn't majorly lighter than the alum, so if you want safety get the alum but if you are obesesed with grams go the other way. On that note Ritchey has a long history of quality control and experience so they are a good choice over other cheaper unknown brands as there is no set standard in the carbon industry as yet.
