... and if we just ... Can't twist MY nipples

I acquired a new/old bike. I can't seem to get the either of the three spoke wrenches around the nipples. They are slotted nipples not square nipples.
Hmmm, is it a spoke wrench? Or, a nipple wrench? Where would one get a nipple wrench?
    Nipple is a funny word.

Bottom bracket doesn't really sound correct....now that I think about it.

You must be doing something wrong!

Ok, now more serious note. You could always take the tire and rim strip off and use a flat head screwdriver to make adjustments.

It sounds like they are spline drive nipples. Hummm, that is a nice word!

Sounds like they might be Spline Drive nipples. If so, you may have trouble tracking down a matching wrench; try asking around your LBSs.

    Hope this helps,

I think the first two guys might be wrong. I think you might be suffering from a case of spline drive nipples.

Sorry, somehow that sounded funny before I wrote it down.

Anyway, run right down to your LBS and see if they have any of those spline drive nipple wrenches.

That reminds me of a girlfriend I had in high school, except there was no "R" in wrench...

Enough! ...one too many margaritas during dinner... *hic*

    Signing off now............................................... ..
