His email is still [email protected], I believe. He posted on mtbr the other day (name: D.F.L. ), so he is still on the board sometimes.

Does anyone have any pictures or comments on his work?

I think he is the closest custom builder to me.....

I have only ever seen a road fixie frame of his and it looked pretty great.

We have 3 (!!) so my opinion is a bit biased. He makes great bikes, good attention to detail, and real custom work. I have taken one of the frames outside its design parameters, and it's holding up fine. He knows that, so I can't use a JRA excuse if anything happens.

Some pictures on the folloing threads:

    Not building right now

He's wrenching at Liberty bikes and I asked him about his framebuilding status just the other day. He said he's not taking orders right now because he's busy settling into his new digs and working on a bike for himself. I think he does plan on firing up business again at some point, I believe.

    He does very nice work.

    Jeeze, they're talking about me...

Yeah, I relocated to Brevard, NC, 1.8 miles from the entrance to Pisgah Nat'l Forest. It sucks, let me tell you; )

I'm getting some of my tooling redone. There were processes that I can make both easier and more precise with some new hardware, so now is the time to take care of that. I also want to update some of the frame details and am working to make the bikes better than ever. As soon as I feel confident with the results, I'll make some sort of an announcement and will start taking orders again. This winter, I expect.

And I may even bother to put a website together! (Shame, shame on me for not having one already.)

I'm completing my new 29er right now and will show some pics when it's done. I think that people will really like; it's a real departure from the average 29er frame. Thanks for the interest, and as always, be patient; )
