    bottom bracket on Rigs

Is it just me or are the BBs on the GF Rig pieces of sh&t?

On the second one, in a year. Trying to adjust for a loose chain and the adjustment screw/bolt is stripping. Must be made of tin. Is there a trick that anyone knows of?
Sometimes, with a very strenuous effort, I will fatigue.

Replace the bolt with a stronger one ? Is the bolt stripping or is the eccentric ?

I replaced the stock unit with a Carver. It was a nice change.

Semi-agreed...no slip, no stick, no strip, but still creaky several miles after tightening.
If you never crash you are not trying hard enough.

Where are you stripping it??? Threads or head of the bolt???

I tighten mine down very well (I'm pretty ham-fisted) and have zero issues with it....

Mine is great. I have adjusted it many times when changing sprockets. It has never made a sound. Make sure it is well lubricated. If you are stripping the bolt or threaded hole you must be over torqued.
