    Boone XTR chainring

I just received my XTR splined chainring from Brett at Boone. Sexy stuff. I can finally put those XTR cranks back to use.

Hey, that IS nice! I don't even have an XTR crank and I want one!

Too bad XTR cranks aren't available in 200mm-ish lengths...

Very nice. I just ordered one for my ride after seeing your picture and the other thread on the cogs and chainrings. I cannot wait to get my creaking ISIS setup off my ride! Man, I should have had those sent next day...

here it is all mounted up!

Added bonus...i can now adjust my Cannondale 1FG EBB without fishing a balldriver 4mm allen through a tiny hole in the old chainring.

    ditto, esp. the egg cut-outs.
i might give one a try when my suffering wears out, which is pretty soon. interestingly, my aluminum king kogs are holding up great, but the suffering getting is pretty shark toothed. what's the freight ($) on that beauty?

Check http://www.boonerings.com/cr/cr.html and then their order site.

    Look for outer splined chainrings.

    They come in 29, 30 , 32, 33, 34 and 36

JJ, do you know if they would do them to fit other Splined cranks apart from the XTR?

    Like Middleburn ;-)

Problably you have to send them an crankarm so they can figure out the Middleburn standard. I'll mail you the the email address of Bruce Boone..

I wasn't planning on using one with a middleburn but after seeing a Middleburn Uno ring snap clean in two on Sunday I would recomend that all current users change ASAP.

    Uno explosion

Old uno or new? Didn't they change the design and beef the ring up to stop that happening after a bunch of failures in the first batch?
