    yes-

I have a "wall of shame" of broken/outdated/unused products, and they are also art. the ziplog baggie full of broken bolts is definitely art (design flaw of the klein mantra- snapped shock bolts like toothpicks). I think there is a hite-rite on that wall as well.

    Speaking of which

Any ideas for a project for this old frame?

It's useless as a bike, 'cause of the crack in the mangled chainstay (That bike had serious chain-suck issues.).

Haven't tossed it 'cause I keep thinking there ought to be something cool I could do with it...

Anyone know of any clever uses for old bike frames?

    There's an idea.

Stick a bulb in every orifice, hang it from lengths of bicycle chain and make the world's ugliest chandelier?

    Smile

Cut the carbon tubes out and make windchimes with them. It will probably sound like the windchimes from hell.

    Or

Cut off the front triangle and make a stool with the rear triangle. That works better with steel though, since you can spread the stays pretty easily.

    mailbox post

[QUOTE=TrevorInSoCal]Any ideas for a project for this old frame?

if you have a mailbox, attach it to the headtube, both through the tube and around it. then bury the rear end in the dirt to get the desired height for the mailbox. i have seen this done. it's quick and easy and looks sweet. just tamp down the dirt around the base real nice. that orange and carbon will look nice and pimpghetto.
