Bicycle Dome Works $25 SS Kit

Recently, I've been feeling the urge to try going singlespeed. I bought a DMR chain tensioner and spacer kit, but heard that the bmx cogs it comes with bite into your freehub. So I needed a wider cog, and a spacer kit to work with it. I saw this on ebay and decided to give it a shot.

The kit just arrived yesterday and I have yet to set it up, but I wanted to let everybody know that this product is out there and seems to be a quality cog and spacer kit for $25 shipped. Just be warned, mine took 34 days to get here from Taiwan.

It has 2 10mm spacers, 1 4.5mm spacer, and 4 2.5mm spacers. It also uses a larger lockring than a standard cassette.

Have to buy one separately. They do sell a chain tensioner that works similar to the generic nashbar one, but I've heard the singleator and DMR are better options.

Singleators suck. Don't do it! I've had good luck with a Gusset Bachelor.

Very nice looking wider cog. Bummer on the transit time though! 1/12 + of a year wait!
