Best use for un-utilized disc mounts?

Gonna be getting a 1x1 soon, and will be running Midges and cantis. I will have a front and rear disc mount getting no use and was trying to think of something cool to bolt on.

Any ideas? Chances are a bottle opener will go on the back. Kinda passe. Low mount blinky lights? Mojo of some other sort?

Use them to mount on a square piece of flemsy plastic sticking into the spokes. This way you'll get a cool motorized sound when you cruise down the trail!

ziptie a giant black dildo. both front and rear. the kind with the balls. that way you dont have all the extra weight in your camelback.

I'd say the best use would be a nice set of disc brakes.

Now there's that guy. I already gots cantis, and with my preference being old school, and 29er being the new school rage, I am going all Jackie Phelan, Johnny T with drops, cantis and 26 inch wheels. I went to the shop aka (the garage) and made a bottle opener from a 30t cog with 51mm international standard drillouts and a Sidi cleat bolt to remove the cap. Made a matching cog for the front, I'll post pics later.

If you are shying away from my reply due to a lack of flemsy plastic, you can always use a couple of playing cards stacked together.

I'm looking forward to the pic's of your bottle cogler

    • Drill your tire levers and attach them with nylon screws to the disc mount.
    • Make a custom CO2 holder for two cartridges and bolt it to the disc mount.
    • Drill Park Tool MT-1 Multi-Tool and attach it with nylon bolts.
    • Make a bottle opener for disc mounts.
    • Design a disc mount attachable cell phone holder. The bottom of your fork is the next best place for a cell phone other than leaving it at home.

put a cup holder on the front that way you have a place to put your beer while riding down the street, oh wait thats what your water bottle cage is for . ok put a bong with a self igniter and a bar mounted remote ignition switch on the front and have a hose from a camel back run all the way from the mouth piece of the bong up the forks and along the frame so it comes up behind the seat with about three feet of extra so you can run it up your back and get another camel back clip so you have one hose for water, one hose to hit the bong, and a cold beer in your water bottle cage. Now, where to put the crack pipe?
