Best Suspension Fork Choices for SS

This has probably been covered before, but with fork models changing, it'd be nice to see what people consider to be the best suspension fork for SS. I currently have a 2010 Reba Race and a 2012 SID that I've put tons of miles on and rebuilt at least 3x each. I love how easy they are to rebuild....
    But, I'd love a 120mm fork...
    What would you buy?
(btw, it has to have easily adjustable stiffness for carrying extra load from bikepacking...ie, can't involve taking it apart and changing a spring).

Personally, I would be buying something with a handlebar mounted lock out. Fox, RS, whatever, pick your poison. I honestly don't think there is a big difference between equal level forks at this point.

I had a Manitou Tower Pro on my Nimble 9 I was very happy with once I changed it to the Firm spring. Got it for a steal at Jenson too.

Fox terralogic. No levers to fuss with.

Ray: Oddly enough, for AZ SS riding only, my favorite fork was a Magura TS8. This is assuming you can take a tapered steerer. It's available in 120, but I'd try to find a used one rather than paying full boat.

I'm a huge terra logic fan. Both my FS and SS have one.

if you happen to like expensive forks with lots of proprietary parts that sort of work, go for a lefty! I put one on my SIR9 two months ago. I like the way it rides, but already had the lower collar un-thread itself about a full furn and leak oil.

In all seriousness...like everyone else said...not a huge difference between a lot of forks these days. I had a specialized Brain fork for a while which is basically terralogic, and it was great. if you don't get that, definitely get something with a remote lockout.

    Love my Fox terralogic.

My second choice would be a lockout but I like SS to be as pure as possible and not having to flick levers is awesome.

I have to put a plug in for Magura TS8 SL.
It is super dependable, has a fantastic feel when standing and hammering- I find it be an ideal fork for singlespeeding . It is very light yet has proven to be very durable. I have hammered it on some very rough trails and am currently racing very hard on it. My only complaint is that it has some stiction in very cold temps - though I ride rigid in the winter so it gets a break. Finally, customer service is much better than what I have heard from some other companies.

I definitely recommend taking a look at it.

Using a Pike RCT3 Solo on a ROS9 and it's working awesome so far. No pogo-ing on stand and mash scenarios and takes a beating.
