    bash guard

hey guys i am at a loss. i have scoured the internet looking for the perfect bash guard only to find out that its not made. i am hoping in the infinite wisdom of the people on the forums we can find a solution. i am looking for something like this design wise but in a four bolt hook up (104mm)

anodized or colored would be a plus but black will do also.

The style is nice looking but once it hits your ankle or leg its a different story. I use a BBG they're cheap, strong, light.

I've always used that style and never had an issue with them cutting my leg.

Here's another one available in 4 bolt:

Is there a good bash guard for the SRAM 2x drivetrain? ie one that does not replace the outer ring as there are only two anyway on the SRAM.

I make one for the sram XX but it replaces the big ring. It's designed for use with one of my singlespeed rings. I cant think of how you'd put a bash ring on otherwise. The sram ring uses special bolts so it'd be a real pain to make something, and it wouldnt be very ideal unfortunately.

Their website is down but Straitline makes a 4-bolt bash in that same style, comes in many colors.

thanks guys! how much bigger is a salsa bash guards in comparison to a 32t ring. i usually don't run a bash guard think it looks better with out but if i could get a cool looking one maybe it would be different.
ISAR what would it take to have a saw tooth bash cut?

The Salsa, at 36T, will stick out I'm guessing about 1/2" further than your 32t ring. The second one I linked to will cover it perfectly.

I'd probably have to loose the lightening pockets, or the saw teeth would have to be pretty small. My rings are designed to be a little bigger than a 34t, so you can run up to that size.
