    Anyone using Rotor Q rings?

Looks like a good idea, but I don't want to try them first! Thanks

    Anyone using Rotor Q rings?

A friend of mine has one on an SS SIR 9. Supposedly you can get ~3% more efficiency out of them. I'm not really interested in them because they are expensive and I'm not a podium sorta racer (that needs to eke out max performance).

I use a Q-RING! It's my favourite part on the whole bike! Great for slowish climbing and when you need to put the power down, short punchy climbs etc.
That Goldtec one looks very interesting! Much cheaper than a Qring.

Odd size and BCD selection on those Goldtec rings. BMX? Good option for the Q's though.
Zip ties? Not on my bike!

    Want:
    650B rims or wheel set. 80's vintage 32 or 36 x 135mm

    What should I say?

I run 'em. I get any dirt KOM on Strava that I want (and many on pavement), win SS races, and place if not win Cat 1 mtb races.

It's all in the chainrings, yo.

Maybe not, since I was doing the same on round rings. YMMV

so what happens if you get hooked and then Rotor goes belly up or increases the price? You might be constantly longing for what you used to have when forced back on the round rings.
    I don't want to be anyone's *****. Especially not my chainring's *****.

    (still considering getting one)

    They sell chainrings for $$$

If they go out of business then someone else will quickly pick up the $135 oval chainring market.

    Science, yo. Look it up!

For the people running them on SS bikes, can we see some pictures of your setup?

Here is my One9 with a q-ring. I like it. I had standard chainrings on my previous bike. I do prefer the q-rings.
