Anyone ridden a Caffeine 3 yet?

In a perfect world you'd be able to compare it to your experiences on a Rig.
Also, the streets are full of horizontal dropouts...

caffeine 3, 1fg, was my first cdale, hardtail, ss, 29er. bought one in mid august as they didn't have a demo, love it. comparing to the rig, you'll have to lock in on a year. i noticed the rig slackened the head tube and trail this year, my neighbor has an older one and it is much steeper (most 29ers run 71.5-73%), the caffeine 3 is 70 and is wonderful through the rock gardens and downhills as a result.

    How about in Red?
Authorities speculate that speed may have been a factor. They are also holding gravity and inertia for questioning.

I have not ridden the stock version, but the bike I have is killer. It is super light stiff and the Lefty is great. I would say the bike steers way quicker than the older RIG but have not ridden the new one. The front center of the Cannondale is dialed, if they could tighten up the chainstays the bike would be one of the premier 29ers, it feels a bit long sometimes, but that adds to the stability at speed and this bike rips the decents.
As far as looks, I wish they had done a bit more 1fg specific scheme like my pre-production model/ the 26" 1fg scheme.
