    Is anyone else tired of....

Tired of the Jericho Bicycles's banner atop all SS boards? No doubt, those four guys could grind me up on a bike. 2003 24 Hr National Adrenal Champs... no small thing even if it was a few years ago. The only problem is that I'm tired of looking at those four guys. Come on Jericho- put up a photo of your bikes, of a trail, a sunset... hell a blender I don't care just move on that tired photo.

Normally these SS pages are full of positive feedback and a negative thread as this one might not fit in. So be it.

YUP..its old as hell in the web world..2003..

and the link goes to some half-assed site. maybe accounts receivable at mtbr hasn't looked into who is current and who isint?

but yea, nothing says STALE like not updating your website or your banner. it makes a company look stagnant or worse...out of business. (sorry no sweetner this time)

Even Kenmoore appliences would be nice since we all need to wash our stinky clothes every now and then...

I say have that be a new Gnome Fest banner.

Maybe we could get a pic of that old maytag man riding a singlespeed, maybe not the best or prettiest of solutions but interesting none the less

I agree on the age of the ad but you could just block it if you use Firefox, that's what I did.

I thought I was the only one who noticed that. Time for something new!

    yep

Somewhat tired of it, but it's lilke a marker than I'm in the right Forum. I wonder - does Jericho really have a long-term contract with MTBR?

This is what's at the top of the page right now....

"The site's at the painters. Delivery date: Sept. 1st"

And yes, I wouldn't mind seeing a different ad, I would think there's little marginal benefit in them having it there now. Wonder if they need a new marketing guy?

I don't care. It's an ad. It's nice that it's the same one that's been there since time began. It makes it an unconcious move to ignore it, and so I do. If it was something fresh, I might notice it, and even be tempted to click on it to see where it leads, and MTBR would get their 10 cents! Wouldn't want that.
I gotta roll, can't stand still, got a flame in my heart, can't get my fill.
